This fabulous vase was made by Michael Hunter for Twists Glass in 2016.
In between the top and bottom cobalt blue incalmo layers is a layer comprising white rondel canes with alternating flower murrine cane centres some in red some in blue and others in blue & green.
Between each rondel is a triangular blue and white murrine cane.
The base is scratch signed "M Hunter Twists 16" and has the Twists Glass studio label.
This is a new design that i think might rapidly become my favourite alongside the merletto pieces.
